Excellent

(5 Reviews)

The OnePlus Open 5G is a premier book-style foldable smartphone engineered for power users who want an expansive tablet workspace combined with a comfortable, wide cover screen. Featuring a crease-free inner display, a lightweight hinge mechanism, and Hasselblad-tuned cameras, it bridges the gap between portability and multi-app productivity. Although its price tag is high and water resistance is lower than some competitors, its ergonomic design and multitasking tools stand out.

The Priclex Verdict

The Good

Exceptionally wide cover screen makes everyday typing feel completely natural
Nearly invisible inner screen crease during standard daily use
Hasselblad-tuned camera system captures stunning colors and clarity
Clever Open Canvas multi-app interface for seamless multitasking

The Bad

High luxury price point matching other premium book-style foldables
IPX4 water resistance rating offers less splash protection than IP68 rivals
Camera bump on the back is large and causes the phone to wobble on flat surfaces

Buy it if...

You want a foldable phone with a normal-sized outer screen for easy single-handed use and a massive, crease-free tablet display inside.

Skip it if...

You require maximum dust and water resistance ratings or prefer a lightweight, traditional slab phone.
